1. CALL TO ORDER
Amy Bennett called the meeting to order at 4:20pm.
2. DISCUSSION
2A. Amy reviewed the Welcome Packet with all members and discussed
member expectations
2B. Nominations for Officer positions were accepted
Chair- Devin Zavasky, Sarah Friske
Vice Chair- Devin Zavasky, Natalie March, Miranda de la Rea
Secretary- Sabrina March, Mary Olohan
High School Representative- Mary Olohan, Natalie March
2C. Discussed possible service projects including Mission Arlington, Candy for
troops around Halloween, Monster Mash, Bike Racks in City Parks and a toy
drive. Members were to do more research and bring information on possible
projects to the next meeting.
2D. Outlined expectations for t -shirt design and members will bring to next
meeting.
2E. SYAC will focus on learning about the Southlake government and how
different avenues affect City decisions. Will included items from City Secretary
office, information about Citizen Survey and other issues members wish to learn
about. Service Projects will be focused more on volunteerism.
