On August 18, 2015, Councilmembers Gary Fawks and Brandon Bledsoe requested that the Developer offer alternative renderings showing a reduction in size of the “ground face CMU” wall.

Councilmember Gary Fawks also requested that the Developer provide larger samples of the proposed architectural metal as shown on the elevation. Additional information was also requested
about the specified “ground-face CMU” product.
Filled and polished ground face masonry units with the look of a smooth terrazzo finish.
After the initial grinding process to expose the variegated colors of the natural aggregates,
the pores of the units are filled with a cementitious grout.
The exposed faces are then polished smooth and a clear satin gloss acrylic is applied to accentuate the natural beauty
of the aggregates and provide moisture resistance.

On August 18, 2015, Councilman Gary Fawks requested that the Developer be more descriptive with the permitted uses allowed under C-2 Local Retail Commercial District. The current definition
is very general and open for interpretation. Currently, the permitted uses under “Health Service Facilities” are as follows:

uses for Falcon Holdings of Southlake:

On August 6, 2015, Planning and Zoning requested that Pacheco Koch discuss alternatives and associated costs with City staff to install approximately 100 linear feet of 8’ wide multi-use
walking trail across Dove Creek. Opinions of Probable Costs were prepared by Pacheco Koch and provided to City staff as follows:
On August 18, 2015, Staff confirmed at the City Council Meeting that proposed alternatives were not equivalent to average costs associated with a standard sidewalk. A sidewalk crossing
at Dove Creek would not be feasible to the Developer. Public Works to consider the sidewalk improvements under a CIP project.

In lieu of installing an 8’ wide multi-use walking trail across Dove Creek, the Developer has agreed to extend the walking trail to the west along S.H. 114 and connect to the existing
walking trail along Children’s Medical Center. Refer to the following site plan:
