ORDINANCE NO. 123-D
AN ORDINANCE REFUSING ANY CHANGE IN UTILITY RATES
OF TRI-COUNTY ELECTRIC 00-OPERATIVE,INC.'S RATE
APPLICATION DATED NOVEMBER,1977
WHEREAS, the said City Council, by prior resolution has suspended any
change in the pending application for change of rates by Tri-County Electric
Co-operative,Inc. until final action of the said City Council, or until
May 30, 1978, whichever event occurred first; and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has concluded its public hearings and after
full consideration of the matter finds that it is in the best interest of
the City that such rate application be in total refused;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
1.
The November, 1977 rate application for rate adjustment filed with the
City by Tri-County Electric Co-operative, Inc. is hereby totally refused and
rejected.
2.
It is further provided that the rates in effect prior to the filing of
said November, 1977 application by said utility be continued within the
corporate limits of the City of Southlake, Texas by said Utility.
This said ordinance being effective upon its approval by the mayor of
said City.
ADOPTED this 16th day of May, 1978.
