AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING
DEPARTMENTS; REPEALING ORDINANCE
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
OF THE CITY OF
ADMINISTRATIVE
NO. 521 AND 531;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Ordinance Nos. 521 and 531 of the City of Southlake are hereby repealed, and
as provided by Section 4.01 of the Charter of the City of Southlake, the City Council hereby
establishes the following administrative departments: Department of General Government, to be
headed by the City Manager; Department of Public Safety, to be headed by the Director of Public
Safety; Department of Public Works, to be headed by the Director of Public Works; Department
of Finance, to be headed by the Director of Finance; Department of Community Development,
to be headed by the Director of Community Development; and, Department of Parks and
Recreation, to be headed by the Director of Parks and Recreation.
Section 2. The Administrative Departments, and the Divisions thereof shall be reflected
in the Annual Operating Budget of the City of Southlake.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval by the City Council.
