ORDINANCE NO. 422
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 364 RELATING TO THE
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1987 AND TERMINATING SEPTEMBER 30, 1988;
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake,
Texas, (the "City"), by its Resolution No. 88-9, has authorized
the execution of a contract with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam,
Inc. for professional engineering services and other technical
services related to preparation of schematic design drawings,
and preliminary estimates of construction and right-of-way
costs for improvements to State Highway 114 within the City
from Dove Road to Loop 382; and
WHEREAS, performance by the City in accordance with such
contract will necessitate amending the fiscal year 1987-88
budget in order to reflect a deposit of revenue to the General
Fund in the amount of $55,000, and to transfer $11,000 from the
General Fund (heretofore reserved to the Animal Control
Participation Account) to the Public Works Fund, all as fully
set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto entitled "Budget Amendment IV -
2/]6/88."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE:

Section 2. That the budget of the City, as approved by
Ordinance No. 334 and as amended to date, is further amended as
set forth in Exhibit 'A" hereto entitled "Budget Amendment IV -
2/16/88."
Section 3. That the City Manager be and is hereby
authorized to make the appropriate changes to the budget to
reflect the changes noted above.
Section 4. A true copy of this ordinance amending the
Fiscal Year of 87-88 budget shall be filed with the City
Secretary and attached to the budget originally adopted, and
the C~ty Manager is hereby directed to file or cause to be
fi]ed a true copy of the amendments in the office of the County
Clerk of Tarrant County, Texas.
Section 5. That this Ordinance
