AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 334, THE COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION 5.14 OF SECTION 5 RELATING TO
PERMITTED USES WITHIN CERTAIN ZONING
DISTRICTS; PROVIDING A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED
THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00)
FOR EACH OFFENSE AND A SEPARATE OFFENSE SHALL
BE DEEMED COMMITTED UPON EACH DAY DURING OR
ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND DECLARING THAT THE
ORDINANCE GOES INTO EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS
PASSAGE.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that all legal
requirements relative to public notice and public hearings have
been complied with and that the Planning and Zoning Commission
has recommended the City Council consider and approve an
amendment to subsection 5.14 of Section 5 of Ordinance No. 334
as set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all of the above premises
be true and correct and are incorporated into the

the Zoning Ordinance of the City, be and the same is hereby
amended and changed in the following particulars, and that all
other existing sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences,
definitions, phrases and words of said Zoning Ordinance are not
amended, but remain intact and are hereby ratified, verified,
approved and affirmed:
"5.14 A. OTHER APPLICABLE REGULATIONS -
Any use not expressly authorized and
permitted herein is expressly prohibited in
these Districts. See the Schedule of
District Regulations for maximum densities,
lot size requirements, yard requirements,
lot coverage requirements and the maximum
height of buildings and structures, see
Section 9 for off-street parking requirement
and Section 10 for off-street loading
requirements. See separate sign ordinance
concerning permitted signs. Also see
