AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF THE STREET
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY PRESENTLY KNOWN AS
"PARKWAY BOULEVARD" TO "KIRKWOOD BOULEVARD";
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF INCONSISTENT
ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, a change in the name of the street located
within the City of Southlake, Texas (the "City"), presently
known as "Parkway Boulevard" to "Kirkwood Boulevard" has been
requested by a person or corporation having a proprietary
interest in the property abutting such street; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to
hereby officially change the name of such street as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE,
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE:
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
Section 1. That all of the above premises
be true and correct and are incorporated into the
Ordinance as if copied in their entirety.

Section 2. That the name of the street located within
the City presently known as "Parkway Boulevard" be and is
hereby officially changed to "Kirkwood Boulevard."
Section 3. If any section, article, paragraph,
sentence, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent
jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance; and the City Council
hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions of
the ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby expressly repealed to the extent of the
inconsistency or conflict.
