0327DENYING ANNEXING OF INTO THE CITY OF PROVIDING A SAVINGS DATE. THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY SOUTHLAKE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE WHEREAS, an application and request has been made by the owners of the following described property, who are citizens of the State of Texas and inhabitants of the following described property, to-wit: Tracts 1 and 2 of Lot 7 of the C. A. Sweet Addition, an addition filed of record in the plat records of Tarrant County, Texas WHEREAS, said territory is adjoining the City of Southlake, and, WHEREAS, said request by the owners of the above described tract, desiring and requesting the annexation of said territory to said city, has presented to the City Council; and WHEREAS, a plat of said tract being annexed showing the location ~f such land is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: SECTION ONE: That the following described property to-wit: Tracts 1 and 2 of Lot 7 of the C. A. Sweet Addition, an addition filed of record in the plat records of Tarrant County, Texas be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Southlake, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above-described territory within the city limits of the City of Southlake, and %he same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Southlake, and they shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said city. SECTION TWO: That Tract 1 of Lot 7 of the C. A. Sweet Addition is herbey annexed into the City of Southlake, Texas as a zoning district classification as "A-6" "Duplex, Two Family" and Tract 2 of Lot 7 of the C. A. Sweet Addition is hereby annexed into the City of Southlake, Texas, as a zoning district classification as "A-4", 'Single Family Residential". SECTION THREE: That, the official map and boundaries of the ty of Southlake, Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and the same is hereby amended so as to include the aforedescribed territory as a part of the City of Southlake, Texas. SECTION FOUR: This ordinance is being passed for the purpose of annexing into the City of Southlake, Texas, the land or territory described in this ordinance. Should any section, article, provision or part of this ordinance be declared to be unconstitutional and/or void by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall in no way affect the validity of any of the remaining parts of this ordinance, or the annexation of the territory or land generally if effect can still be given to such annexation after such Court decision and unless the part held unconstitutional or void is found to be inseparable from and indispensable to the operation of the remaining parts. The City Council declares that it would have passed those parts of this ordinance which are valid and omitted any part which may be unconstitutional if it had known that such parts were unconstitutional at the time of the passage of this ordinance. SECTION FIVE: That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the City Council, and approval by the Mayor and duly attested by the City Secretary of the City of Southlake, Texas.
