AN ORDINANCE DECLARING AN EMERGENCY FOR THE CITY OF SOUTM-
LAKE WATER SUPPLY AND MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM, ESTABLISHING
A WATER USE PNOGRAM, PROVIDING FOR SCHEDULING OF WATER USE
BY NECESSITY OF USE AND LOCATION OF USER, PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF TMIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING A SAV-
INGS CLAUSE, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
Whereas; the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas,
finds that an emergency currently exists in the supplies of water avail-
able For use by its citizens who are being supplied by the City of South-
lake Municipal Water System; and,
for lire control and fire fighting purposes, for human and animal con-
~umpl ion and for othtr necessities of human and animal life; and,
Whereas; the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas,
finds that unless emergency water rationing and use controls are imple-
mented i~rm/ediately it is probable that ti~e City of Southlake Municipal
Water System will nol haw' water available during July through October,
1984, fox' fire prewntion, control and fire fighting or for use fop
consumption and other necessities Jot human and animal life:
NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TltE
CITY OF SOUTHDAKE, TEXAS:
