0292ACITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 292-A AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 292 RELATING TO THE MEETINGS OF THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE: PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 292 is hereby amended and changed in the following particulars and all other existing sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, definitions, phrases and words of said ordinance are not amended, but remain intact and are hereby ratified, verified and affirmed. Section 2. That Section 4 of Ordinance Number 292 of the City of Southlake, Texas shall hereby be amended to read as follows: "Section 4. The City Planning and Zoning Commission shall meet on the Thursday following the first and third Tuesday, Provided that the Thursday does not fall on a city holiday. All Planning and Zoning Commission meetings shall be held in the City Council Chambers located at 667 North Carroll, Southlake, Texas. Four members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business." Section 3. This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Southlake, Texas and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinances except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 4. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this Ordinance, or application thereto any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions of this Ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. Section 5. _doption by the City Council.
