1976 EDITION AS A~D~D, AS THE "BUILDING COLE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHI~AKE, TEXAS"; P~SCRIBING
REGULATIONS FOR THE E~C~fION, CONSTRUCTION,
citizens to adout a revised nationally recognized and authorative building
WHEREAS, the City Council after receiving advice from its administrativ~
officials dee~s the above code to be the basis for this ordlnanre;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY ~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SfYJI~ILAKE,
Congress International Inc., consisting of Sections 101 throu~a 2902 including
Appendix "A" through "M", and an~nd~ents to the Standard Building Code 1977
F~vision to 1976 Edition Consisting of 100 pages,except as specifically modified
by this oui~]ce, is hereby adopted as the"Buil(ting Code of the City of Southlake,
Texas?
SECTION 3- FIRE DISTRICt- CREATION ~ ESTABLI~: There is hereby created
a "Fire District" for ~ich the bo~daries thereof shall be described as follows:
Beginning at the intersectinon of the south Right-of-Way line of State Highway
114 ~nd the east Right-Of-Way line of Carroll Avenue; thence southerly along
said east Right-Of-Way line of Carroll A~nue to its intersection with the north
Rib]t-of-Way line of EaSt Continental Blvd.; thence easterly along said north
Right-Of-Way line of East Continental Blvd. to its intersection with the
west Right-Of-Way line of Kimball Avenue; thence northerly alc~g the m~andering
west Right-Of-Way line of Ki~all Avenue and the northerly projection thereof,
to its intersectbn with the southerly Right-of-Way line of State Highway No. 114;
thence northwesterly along said southerly Right-of-Way line of State Hi,away NO.
114, to the point of beginning. Said "Fire District" shall be regulated in
conformance with ~]e "Building code of the City of Southlake, Texas".
