0187ORDINANCE NO. 187 AN ORDINANCE RELEASING TERRITORY FROM THE EXTI%ATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEX~S TO THE CITY OF KELLER TEXAS; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EXHIBIT PLAT HERETO; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,TEXAS SECTION 1: Under the provisions of the Municipal Annexation Act, Article 970a Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, the City of Southlake, Texas, hereby relinquishes to the City of Keller, Texas, all its extraterritorial jurisdictional authority over all territory described as follows: A. All area South of the following described division line: Beginning at the center line of Big Bear Creek from it's intersection with the East line of S.H. Thompson Survey and following the center line of it's meanderings to the point where said center line of Big Bear Creek intersects with the center line of Jellico Branch. B. All area West of the following described division line: Beginning at the centerline of Jellico Branch from it's intersection with Big Bear Creek's center line and along the center line of the meanderings of Jellico Branch in a generally northwesterly direction to the point where said centerline of Jellico Branch intersects with the South right-of-way line of Union Church Road. C. All area South of the following described division line: Beginning at a point in the South right-of-way line of Union Church Road which intersects with the center line of Jellico Branch and from such point along the South right-of- way line of Union Church Road west to the intersection of the South right-of-way line of Union Church Road with the West right-of-way line of Pearson Lane. D. All area West of the following described division line: Beginning at the point where the West right-of-way line of Pearson Lane intersects with the South right-of-way line of Union Church Road and from such point North up the West right-of-way line of Pearson Lane to the point where such right-of-way line intersects with the North right-of-way line of Florence Road. E. Ail area North of the following described division line: Beginning at the point in the North right-of-way line of Florence Road intersecting with the West right-of-way of Pearson Laneand following the said right-of-way line of Florence Road East to the point where said North right- of-way line of Florence Road intersects with the West right-of-way line of Randol Mill County Road NO. 3035. F. All area West of the following described division line: Beginning at the intersection of the West boundary line of County Road 3035 and the North right-of-way line of Florence Road; Thence generally North along the West right-of-way line of said Road 3035 to a point intersecting the West boundary line of the W. Winn Survey; Thence generally North along the West boundary line of the W. Winn Survey to a point in the West boundary line of the W.N. Martin Survey; Thence generally North along the West boundary line of the W.N. Martin Survey to a point where the northwest corner of said W.N.Martin (10 • -• Survey intersects with the West boundary line of the C.N. Throop Survey; Thence generally North along the West boundary line of the C.N. Throop Survey to a point where the West right-of-way line of County Road No. 4026 intersects; Thence generally North along the West right- of-way line of County Road 4026 to the point where such West right-of-way line intersects with the South right-of- way line of State Highway 114. SECTION II. That this ordinance shall and does hereby amend every prior ordinance in conflict herewith, but as to all other ordinances or sections of ordinances not in direct conflict herewith, this ordinance be and is hereby made cumulative. SECTION III. If any section, subsection or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, the portion so held to be invalid or unconstitutional shall not affect the validity of any other part of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION IV. That the attached plat showing the location of the extraterritorial jurisdictional authority dividing lines is hereby made a part of this ordinance, it being understood that such map does not portray the entire northern portion of the area covered by this ordinance. SECTION V. That this ordinance shall become effective and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of it's passage. PASSED this /7 day of ikomiok, 1972 .
