to the present city limits of the City of Southlake, Texas.
BE IT ORDAINE'0 BY THE CITY COUNCIL Off' THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TM AS:
1.
THAT, the property hereiniabove described being adjacent, and
contiguous to the City limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is
hereby annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said
City and is hereby made an integral part thereof.
THAT, the owner and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens
and property owners of said city and be bound by all of the acts
and ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and
effect and that which may be hereafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the City.of Southlake,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and mended, be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the City
of Southlake, Texas.
4.
THAT, this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor
and duly attested by the City Secretary.

of Tarrant County, Texas, hereinafter called Petitioners, represent as
follows:
1. That they are the owners of a 10 acre tract of land situated in
Tarrant County, Texas, and being' a tract of land out of the J. P.•LLEN SUR-
VEY, Abstract No. 18, and being a portion, of a certain 90 acre tract con-
veyed to J. E. Bearden by seed recorded in Vol. 1545, Page 183, +.;eed
Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described as
follows, ?BE_`INNINt_ at an iron rod in the East line of the said Bearden
90 acre tract, said point being 950 varas East and •12n.96 varas North of
the Southwest corner of the J. ALLEN SURVEY: THENCE ?vest 300 feet to

2. That the land described in EXB:IFIT "A" hereto attached, is less
than one-half mile in width; that less than three qualified voters reside
thereon, and is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Southlake, Te~>as.
3. Your petitioners agree that if this request for annexation be
granted, said land shall become a part of the City of Southlake, Texas, and
the said land and any future inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all
the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Southlake, anc
shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city, now in effect anc-I
as hereafter enacted.
