0115 J ORDINANCE NO. 115 AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNERS AND IN.- HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID TOWN AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd Legislature, Page 357x Chapter 93, codified as Article 974. G, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, Clarence Raymond Bernhardt and wife, Patsy Sadler Bernhardt, owners of the real property hereinafter described having made application as by law provided to the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Southlake, Texas, for annexation of a tract of land consisting of two and one-4half (22) acres out of the Reese D. Price Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds, to-wit: A tract of land consisting of 22 acres more or less situated in the R. D. Price Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southwest Corner of the D. Douthit Survey, said point being also in the North Line of the R. D. Price Survey and the West right-of"way line of County Road No, 3016, same being a present City Limit Line of the Town of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE, South 447.5 feet more or less to a point for corner; THENCE, East 360 feet more or less to the West right-of-way line of County Road No. 3016 for corner; THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction along the West right- of-way line of County Road No. 3016 to the place of beginning. A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town of Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "B"; and WHEREAS, it appearing to the Town Council of the Town of Southlake, Texas, that all statutory requirements in connection with said proposed annexation have been fulfilled and that the above described area is not more than 1/2 mile in width, that not more than three qualified voters reside thereon, and that the same is adjacent to the present City Limits of the Town of Southlake, Texas; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS : 1. THAT$ the property hereinabove described being adjacent,. and contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and is hereby made an integral part thereof, 2. THAT, the owner fand inhabitants of the area herein annexed be entitled to allMe rights and privileges of other citizens and property owners of said Town and be bound by all of the acts and or dinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and effect and that which may be hereafter adopted. 3. THAT, the official map and boundaries of the Town of Southlake, Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the Town of Southlake, Texas. 4. THIS, ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and duly attested by the Town Secretary. ADOPTED this s _day of _-jp , A.
