ORDINANCE NO. 99
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME
A PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNERS AND
INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND BE
BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND
TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR
AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID TOWN, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953,
53rd Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974.-G,
Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, Adriel Hall, Trustee, of Tarrant
County, Texas, owner of the real property hereinafter described,
having made application as by law provided to the Mayor and Town
Council of the Town of Southlake, Texas, a tract of land consisting
of 76.2 acres, more or less, situated in the R. D. Price and
J. W. Chivers Surveys situated in Tarrant County, Texas, more fully
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South boundary line of the
R. D. Price Survey and the North boundary line of the
J. W. Chivers Survey, 819 feet west of the northeast
corner of the J. W. Chivers Survey, said boundary line
being the present city limit line of Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas, as created by its Ordinance No. 86,
adopted February 23, 1957;
THENCE, North 1791 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 88 degrees 43 minutes East 205.3 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 14 degrees 22 minutes West 1274.9 feet to a point;
THENCE, South 89 degrees 53 minutes West 286 feet to a point;
THENCE, South 18 degrees 03 minutes West 830.3 feet to a point;
THENCE, South 89 degrees 49 minutes West 165 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 18 degrees 18 minutes West 57708 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 69 degrees 38 minutes West 427 feet to a point
in the David Douthit Survey;
THENCE, South 960 feet to the South Boundary Line of the
Douthit Survey;
THENCE, East 24906 feet to the Southeast Corner of the Douthit
Survey;
THENCE, South 1983.5 feet to the South boundary line of the
R. D. Price Survey, existing City Limit Line of Southlake, Texas;
THENCE, North 89 degrees 30 min. East along the south boundary
line of the Price Survey 1166 feet to the place of beginning.
