AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING THE
INH10ITANTS AND TERRITORIES ADJACENT TO THE
TOWN OF SOUTTILAKE, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING THAT
SUCH AREA SHOULD BE A PART OF THE TOWN OF SOUTH-
LAKE, TEXAS, AND THAT THE INHABITANTS S LkLL
BE ENTITLED TO THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF
OTHER CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS,
AND BOUND BY T-1E ACTS AND ORDINANCES ENACTED
IN PURSUANT TO TITLE 28, CHAPTERS 1 to 10,
INCLUSIVE, REVISED CIVIL STATUTES OF TEXAS,
AND AT•ENDING AND CORRECTING OFFICIAL BOUND-
A_RIES OF THE TOWN OF SOUT :1LAKE, TEXAS, AS
HERETOFORE ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, oursuant to Article 974 of the 1925 Revised Civil
Statutes of Texas, W. L. Randle and others, inhabitants of the area
herein described and who are aualified to vote for members of the State
Legislature, have hereto-?ore filed with the Mayor and the Board of
Aldermen of the Town of Southlake, Texas, their petition requesting
annexation of the said area to the Town of Southlake, Texas, suca area.
being described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in tie North line of County Road No. 3080, same
being the Northwest corner of tine L. Chivers Survey, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THENCE, South along the West line of County Road Xo. 3016 to a anoint where
same intersects a tract of land annexed to the Town of Southlake, Texas,
pursuant to its Ordinance No. 42, adopted December 29, 1956;
THENCE, East along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a point;
THENCE, North along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a point;
THENCE, South along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a anoint;
THENCE, West along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a point
in the West line of County Road No. 3016;
THENCE, South along, the =vest line of County Road No. 3016 to a point
in a tract of land annexed to the Town of Southlake, Texas, pursuant
to its Ordinance No. 6, adopted December 3, 1956;
THENCE, East along the North bound<ry line of said Ordinance N-). 6 to a
point where said Ordinance No. 6 intersects a tract of land annexed by
the Torn of Southlake, Texas, pursuant to its Ordinance No. 49, adopted
Dec. 29, 1956;
THENCE, North along the boundary line of said Ordinance No. 49 to a point;
THENCE, East to the East boundary line of the W. W. Hall Survey;
THENCE, North along tue East boundary line of V e W. W. alall Survey
and the East boundary line of the L. Caivers Survey to the North
line of County Road No. 3080, same being the Northeast corner of the
L. Chivers Survey;
THENCE, continuing North along the East boundary line of the J. W.
C'aivers Survey, to its Northeast corner;
THENCE, West along the North boundary line of the J. W. Chivers Survey
to its Northwest corner;
THENCE, South along the West boundary line of said Survey to the place
of beginning.
WHEREAS, said petition was accom-,parried by an affidavit executed
by W. L. Randle and others, inhabitants of the areas described and who
are qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature and that by
signing said affidavit certified that said petition contains the sig-
natures of more than fifty -percent of the qualified voters residing in
such area who have voted in favor of having the said area, and the
inhabitants thereof annexed to and becr>me a part of the Town of Souttlake,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the BoL~rd of Aldermen of the Town of
Southlake, Texas, that all statutory requirements in connection with said
proposed annexation have been fulfilled and thpt the said area duly
grouped into one territory is not more than 1/2 mile in width and that
all of same is adjacent of the present City Limits of the Town of SouthlakE
Texas;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF SOUTi=aLAKE2
TEXAS:

THE hereinafter described territory lying; and adjacent to the
Town of Southlake, Texas, is hereby annexed and brought within the
Coroorate Limits and made an integral part o the Town of Southlake,
Texas, said territory being situpted in Tarrant County, Texas, and being
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGIN14ING at t point in the North line of County Road No. 3080, same
being the Northwest corner of the L. Chivers Survey, Tarrant County,
Texas;
THE!KCE, South a.longthe West line of County Road No. 3016 to a point where
same intersects a tract of land annexed to the Town of Southlake, Texas,
pursuant to its Ordinance No. L~21 adopted December 29, 1956;
THENCE, East along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a point;
THENCE, North along the boundary line of said Ordinance 42 to a point;
