ORDINANCE NO. 79
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA S14ALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNEP.S AND INHAB-
ITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FUR.THEF PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID TOWN, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974-G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, Ray Austin and wife, Onia Justin, owners of
the real property hereinafter described, having made application as by
law provided to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Southlake,
Texas, a tract of land consisting of 67-15/100 acres, more or less,
situated in the C. B. McDonald Survey, Tarrant Cotvity, Texas, more
fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the C. B. McDonald Survey;
THENCE, South 906 varas to a point in the Northwest line of
right of way of the St. L. & S. W. RR.;
THENCE, South 54 degrees 35 minutes West along the line of
right of way 421 varas to a stake;
THEN';E, North 0 degrees 15 minutes East 862-3/10 varas to a
stake;
THENCE, North 89 degrees West 94-3/10 varas to a stake;
THENCE, North 0 degrees 15 minutes East 271-7/10 varas to a stake;
THENCE, West 110-4/10 varas to a stake;
THENCE, North 13-1/10 varas to a stake in the South line of a road;
THENCE, North 86 degrees 45 minutes East 22-7/10 varas;
THENCE, East 530 varas to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town of
Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXdIBIT "A".

THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent
and contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought wit''nin the Corporate Limits of sail Town and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
