ORDINANCE NO. 78
Ali ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS;
PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN
AND THAT THE OWNERS AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE EN-
TITLED TO ALL T-iE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN,
AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND
TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMENDING
AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID TOWN, AS
HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
THEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974HG, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, John P. Sheehey and wife, Rosetta. Shee.hey,
owners of the real -property hereinafter described, having made application
as by law provided to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Southlake, Texas, a tract of land consisting of 139.2 acres, more or
less, situated in the T. J. Thompson, W. R. Eaves and t_te J. G. .(Alen
Surveys, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described b' metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at a, point in the ;lest boundary line 243 varas South
of tae Northwest corner of t.ie T. J. Thompson Survey;

THENCE, North 243 varas to a point in the North boundary line
of the Thompson Survey for corner;
