AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNERS AND IN--
HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID TOWN, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 3571 Chapter 93: codified as Article 974-G, Revised
Civil Statutues of Texas, B. B. Lee,- of Tarrant County, Texas, owner of
the real property hereinafter described, having made application as
by law provided-.to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of South-
lake, Texas, a tract of land consisting of acres, more or less,
situated in the J. A. Freeman Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, fully
described in a deed recorded in Volume Page No. ,
Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and more fully described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of the J. A. Freeman Survey,
Tarrant County, Texas, 129.2 varas from the Southeast corner
thereof;
THENCE,-West 501.6 varas to a point being the Southwest corner of
a 57 acre tract described in the above mentioned deed;
THENCE, North 346 varas to a point being the South--Northwesth corner
of said 57 acre tract; ,
THENCE, East 237 varas to a point;
THENCE, North 604 varas to the South boundary line of a 12
acre tract which is a part of a 26 acre tract described in the
aforementioned deed;
THENCE, West to the Southwest corner of said 12 acre tract;
THENCE, NORTH 15:0 varas to the Northwest corner of said tract;
THENCE, East 475 varas to the East line of the said J. A. Freeman
Survey;
THENCE, South along the East line of said J. A. Freeman Survey
350.' varas to the South line of the 12 acre tract aforementioned;
THENCE, West along said South line to a point which is the Northeast
corner of a 57 acre tract aforementioned;
THENCE, South along the East line of said 57 acre tract 949 varas
to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town of
Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A".

THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent
and contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
2.
THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed be
entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens and
property owners of said Town and be bound by all of the acts and
ordinances made in conformity thereto,now in full force and effect
and that which may be hereafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the Town of Southlake,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended, be and is hereby amended so
as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the Town of
Southlake, Texas.

THIS, ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested b the Town Secretary.
