ORDINANCE NO. 68
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING A UTILITY COMPANY
OPERATING WITHIN THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS,
WITHOUT A FRANCHISE GRANTED BY THE TOWN OF
SOUTHLAKE TO EXTEND ITS FACILITIES FOR THE
PURPOSE OF SERVING ANY NEW CUSTOMERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
Section 1. No utility company operating within the Town
Limits without a specific franchise granted by the Town of
Southlake, Texas, shall extend its pipes, lines, wires and
facilities for the purpose of serving customers not theretofore
served by it.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
