ORDINANCE NO.. 39
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART
OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNERS AND INHABITANTS
THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND BE BOUND BY
THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE
HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR
AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID TOWN AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974HG, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, W. W. Frank and wife, Charlene Frank, of
Tarrant County, Texas, owners of the real property hereinafter des-
cribed, having made application as by law provided to the Mayor and
Board of Aldermen of the Town of Southlakez Texas, a tract of land
consisting of one (1) acre, more or less., situated in the J. N.
Gibson Survey, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point, same being 75 varas South
of the North line of the J. N. Gibson Survey in
the center of County Road No. 3041 same being
also the South boundary line of a 12 acre tract
of land as was annexed pursuant to provisions
of Ordinance No. ;
THENCE, South along the center line of said County
Road 75 varas to the Southwest corner of the tract
herein described;
THENCE, East 75 varas to the Southeast corner of said
tract;
THENCE, North 75 varas to the Northeast corner of said
tract;
THENCE, West 75 varas to the center of County Road
No. 3041, to place of beginning.
.A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town of
So=uthlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A"*

THAT, the property hereinabove described being adjacent and
contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.

THAT, the owners and inhabitants of the area herein annexed
be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens
and property owners of said Town and be bound by all of the act`s
and ordinances made in conformity thereto, now in full force and
effect and that which may be hereafter adopted.
3.
THAT, the official map and boundaries of the Town of Southlake,
Texas, as heretofore adopted and amended., be and is hereby amended
so as to include the aforementioned territory as part of the Town
of Sout.hlake, Texas.
4.
THIS, ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and
duly attested by the Town Secretary.
