ORDINANCE NO, 15
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT T-c!E OWNERS AND INHABIT-
ANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND BE BOUND BY
THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT AND TO BE
HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING FOR AMEND-
ING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES OF SAID
TOWN AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953,
53rd Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974-G,
Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, Charles H. Young and wife
Virginia F. Young, owners of the real property hereinafter
described having made application as by law provided to the Mayor
and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Sout'ala.ke, Texas, a tract
of land consisting of 100 acres, more or less, out of the William
E. Crook Survey, Abstract No, 295, Tarrant County, Texas, more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South right of way line of
County Project No. 3099 at the West Boundary Line of the
said William E. Crook Survey;
TaiENCE, South along the West Line of said Survey to the
center of Big Bear Creek;
THENCE, down said Creek with its meanderings to the East
bourd -.ry line of said survey;
THENCE, North with the East boundary line of said survey
to the Northeast corner thereof, situated in County
Project No. 3099;
THENCE, West with the North boundary line of said Survey
to the place of beginning.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town
of Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A".

THAT, the property hereina.bove described being adjacent and
contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and
is :hereby made an integral part thereof.
