ORDINANCE NO. 5-A
An Ordinance approving certain Rate Schedules filed by Texas
Power & Light Company in the City of Southlake , Texas,
and providing conditions under which such Rate Schedules may
be changed, modified, amended or withdrawn:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

SECTION 1: That Texas Power & Light Company, having
filed on the 27th day of December , 19 71 , its
Rate Book No. 4-72-31, containing a set o e ectric ate
Schedules and the Service Regulations referred to therein,
with the City Secretary, the same are hereby approved as
Schedules of Rates and Service Regulations under which said
Company is authorized to collect charges from its customers
for the sale of electric power and energy within the corporate
limits of the City until such time as said Rate Schedules
and Service Regulations may be changed, modified, amended or
withdrawn, with the approval of the City Council, subject,
however, to the provisions of the Economic Stabilization
Act of 1970, as amended, and the Rules and Regulations there-
under.
SECTION 2: The filing of the Rate Schedules and Service
Regulations, and the approval of same by the City Council,
in the manner herein provided, shall constitute notice,to
the consumers of electricity, within the City, of the avail-
ability and application of such Rate Schedules and Service
Regulations.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force and effect from and after the date oaf its passage
and approval by the Mayor.
