A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, REVIEW OF INVESTMENT POLICY AND
INVESTMENT STRATEGIES.
WHEREAS, Section 2256.005 (e) of the Public Funds Investment Act (the "Act ")
directs the governing body of an investing entity to review its investment policy and investment
strategies not less than annually; and
WHEREAS, the City of Southlake's financial advisor has reviewed the investment
policy against recent changes to the Act and has not identified any necessary changes to the
investment policy; and
WHEREAS, there are not any recommended changes to the investment policy.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
Section 1. The City Council of Southlake has reviewed the Investment Policy and
investment strategies and hereby adopts the Investment Policy dated August 2012, as attached to
this resolution. The Investment Policy amends and supersedes the Investment Policy adopted by
the City in August 2011.
Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
