WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of April,,1962, pursuant to the provisions
of Title 28, Chapter 2 of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes,,the Elec-
tion Code of, the. ,Stnte of To�r,-�s and. Resolution No. 19, heretofore
:adopted on the�day of �7� 1962, after due notice as by
lacy provided, the generAl election t elect threo councilmen for a
term of two years and one councilman to fill the unexpired term of
Wade C. Cummings was held within the limits of said Town; and
WTIEFEAS on theday of April, 1962, at a meeting of the Town
Couneil,,the results of said election were canvassed by the :Mayor
in the prosenee of the Town Council and said canvass showed the re-
sults thereof was as follows:

TIMREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF SOUT11L AKE, TEXAS:
T}SAT, the canvass of the results of said election be, and is hereby
approved, anq that Paul L. Schell, W..H. Crumbaker, John R. Tate and
R. Earl Williams having'received the highest number of votes for
Councilman Places 1,3,4,nnd 5,•are hereby elected to said offices and
are to serve as such officers as specified -above or until their success-
ors aro duly elected and qualified.,

office as by law,providod and file suoh oath with the torn secretary.
