RESOLUTION N0. 10
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of April. A. D. 1958. pu rsunnt to
the provisions of Title 28, Chapter 2 of the 1925 Revised
Civil Statutes. the Election Code of the Stpte of Texas,
and Resolution No. 6,• heretofore adopted on the 11 day of
January, A. P. 1938, after due notice as by lrw -provided,
the general election to elect three Councilmen for Places
No. 3. 4 and 5 for a term of two years was held within the
limits of said Town; and
WHEREAS. on the AR i2 day of April. A. D, 1958, at e
meeting of the Town Council of.said Town, the resul-ts of said
Election were canvassed by lhe' Mayor in the presence of the
Town Council and said canvass showed the result thereof was
as follows:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF SOUTHLAKE . TEXAS:
THAT. the canvass of the result of said election. be and
is hereby approved. and that Howard L. Gilbert. Clovis M. Gordon
and Lawyel A. Casey having received the highest number of votes
for the office of Councilman Place 3, 4 and 5. are hereby elected
to said respective offices and are to serve as such officers for
the term of two years from date hereof or until their successors
are duly elected and qualified.
THAT, all such officers are hereby instructed to take the
oath of office as by law provided and file such oaths with the
Town Secretary,
