ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING MINUTES: April 10, 2023

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Kristine Kemp, Renee Thomas, Tracy Harrow,
Mike Kaucher, Mark Flores, Elisa O'Callaghan, Sanjay Veerabathin, Muhammad Igbal
STAFF PRESENT:
Assistant to the City Manager Major Youngblood, Customer Services Operations
Manager Melody Andersen, and Business Manager Madeline Prater
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: N/A
1. Call to Order. The Alliance for Community Engagement Chair Kristine Kemp called
the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
2. Executive Session.
Chair Kristine Kemp announced the Alliance for Community Engagement would go
into Executive Session pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, Section 551.071 consultation with city attorney. The Alliance for
Community Engagement adjourned for Executive Session at 6:04 p.m. Executive
Session began at 6:10 p.m., and concluded at 6:55 p.m.
3. Consent.
a. Approve Minutes from the March 6, 2023, special Alliance for Community
Engagement meeting.
b. Excuse the absence of Mark Flores from the February 13, 2023, regular
Alliance for Community Engagement meeting.
c. Excuse the absence of Muhammad Igbal from the March 6, 2023, special
Alliance for Community Engagement meeting.

Tourism and Marketing Manager, Hillary Cromer presented the 2022 Stars &
Stripes Intercept Survey Results and answered questions from the board.
b. Goals for Southlake Neighborhood Program.
Assistant to the City Manager, Major Youngblood presented Item 413 and
answered questions from the board.
PUBLIC FORUM
Chair Kristine Kemp opened the public forum at 7:33pm. Chair Kristine Kemp closed the
public forum at 7:33pm.
ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned by Chair Kristine Kemp at 7:34pm.
