A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS,
DISSOLVING THE MAYOR'S ALLIANCE FOR UNITY AND CULTURE AND THE
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE; CREATING THE ALLIANCE FOR
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake (the "City") previously created
various boards, commissions, and committees; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to dissolve the Mayor's Alliance for Unity and Culture
and the Community Engagement Committee and create the Alliance for Community
Engagement which would combine and carry out the functions of the dissolved
committees; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1.
The Mayor's Alliance for Unity and Culture is hereby dissolved.
Section 2.
The Community Engagement Committee is hereby dissolved.
Section 3.
That this resolution is in effect upon passage and approval by the City Council.
