SITE PLAN VARIANCE REQUEST

In consideration of a variance request for landscape island width:
The previous site plan for this site had two islands that did not comply to the minimum width requirement of
twelve feet and four new proposed islands for traffic control. Its requested that is be allowed due to existing
conditions on the site the make compliance difficult. It should be noted that as part of these improvements
landscaping and a patio area has been add and there is a net increase in the landscape/open space on the
improved site.
In consideration of a variance request for exposed steel columns:
As part of the design modification to the elevations the proposed steel screening is supported by steel
columns to be consistent with the shade structure proposed. We request a variance from the requirements
as outline in Section 43, Overlay, Section 43.9.c.1.e, Exposed Columns shall be constructed or clad in the
same masonry material as the principal structure.
