The renderings look great. You guys have approached this project with such thoughulness. You ’ been intenonal about creang something worthy of Southlake. You have gone so far above and beyond and it’s obvious you have so much community support, so thanks for all your hard work on this, it is beauful. Council Member Chris Archer -agreed with councilman Huffman and said“ you can tell the thoughulness that has been put into it”. And “ it doesn’t like it competes with town Square, butis an addion to what will make Southlake an even more aracve desnaon. Its great to me ” Council Member Ronell Smith -“Ima lile biased, but I love how grand you made the library look. It looks like something out of this country….. Mayor Laura Hill -One of the most important things about Carillon is how it affects our city, but it’s even more important to have a Regional look at what is happening along the 114 Corridor….It is important that this project move forward quickly. I think it’s also important to the citizens Southlake that we have the library in this facility. We have been talking about the library since Andy Wambsganss was Mayor, that we wanted to have the kind of library in our city that families looked at as a desnaon and where we could do incredible programs with both inside and outside opportuniesand that you weren’t sing inside, quite frankly, a basement…..Libraries have really become a meeng space for communies and to have that where people can have easy access to parking and to keep their lile ones under some kind of cover as they move around….and to have that outdoor opportunity… it’s becoming more of a quality of life issue for our cizens. We have been contemplang that for the last 14 to 15 years and I just want to see ithappen fast. Trust has been built and you guys have earned it 100% of cizen comments were in support Last City Presentaon -Sept 17, 2019 Comments and Quotes from Council and Cizens APPROVED CONCEPT PLAN FOR DISCUSSION AND COMPARISON PURPOSES Previously Approved Plan Proposed PlanLast Supported Plan QUESTIONS Questions and Concerns: 1. Here is the commercial traffic entering and existing the commercial development? The commercial entrances and exits will be from N. White Chapel Blvd. and the E. SH 114 access road. There will be emergency access from Palladian Dr. only. 2. Where is the library and the parking for the library parking as my house is across from my home? The facilities and parking lot will have a screening buffer to screen the development. 3. Will there be parking along Palladian Drive as we have parking on our side of the street? We will be working with the City to not have parking on the west side of the street, to provide parking in the new parking garage, and will have discussions on the parking concerns. 4. Citizens spoke on appreciation of the communication with the developer and want neighbors to voice their concerns and comments.
