2004-057RESOLUTION NO. 04-057 OFFICIAL RECORD
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING TWO NEW ALTERNATE
MEMBERS TO THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT WITH ONE
TERM TO EXPIRE IN MAY 2005 AND ONE TERM TO EXPIRE IN
MAY 2006; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, the City of Southlake has a Zoning Board of Adjustment as stated in the City
Home Rule Charter, Chapter XI, Section 11.02; and,
Whereas, the Zoning Ordinance No. 480, Section 44, calls for a five (5) member board
with two (2) alternate members to serve for two-year terms, and appointment of the Chairman
and Vice -Chairman by the City Council; and,
Whereas, two additional alternate positions were created in August 2004 by the approval
of Ordinance No. 480 -XX with staggered terms expiring in May 2005 and May 2006; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City
Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints the following persons to serve as alternates on
the Zoning Board of Adjustment:
Michael Waldman Alternate #3 term ends May 2005
Dannv Maver Alternate #4 term ends May 2006
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective after its passage and approval by the City
Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 3rd DAY OF AUGUST 2004.
