A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO FILL AN
UNEXPIRED TERM, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
Whereas, a Home Rule Charter of the City of Southlake, Texas, was approved by the voters in a
duly called Charter election on April 4, 1987; and,
Whereas, in the Home Rule Charter, Chapter XI, Planning and Zoning, Section 11.03 allows for
appointment for two (2) year terms on the commission; and,
Whereas, currently the unexpired term of Commissioner Bret Boren is vacant until May 2003
due to his resignation; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City
Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if
copied in its entirety.
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints the following person to the Planning and
Zoning Commission to fill an unexpired term until May 2003:
Ronald Kulvinski (to expire May 2003)
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective after its passage and approval by the City
Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 3rd DAY OF DECEMBER 2002.
