RESOLUTION NO. 02-058
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING
MEMBERS TO THE SOUTHLAKE 2025 PLAN
STEERING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, a Home Rule Charter of the City of Southlake, Texas, was approved by the
voters in a duly called Charter election on April 4, 1987; and,
WHEREAS, the Home Rule Charter, Chapter XI requires an update to the City's
comprehensive plan elements every four years,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appoint a Steering Committee to undertake the
update to the City's Comprehensive Plan elements,
WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed the following citizens as willing and able to
perform the duties required,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City
Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if
copied in its entirety
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints persons listed below to the Southlake 2025 Plan
Steering Committee to serve until the City's Comprehensive Plan Update is
completed.

Section 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the members of the Southlake 2025 Steering
Committee to select two (2) persons as co-chairs to lead the planning process.
