2002-032RESOLUTION NO. 02-032 OFFICIAL RECORD
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, a Parks and Recreation Board was created for the purpose of planning and
developing parks and park sites within the City of Southlake for the use and benefit of its
citizens; and,
Whereas, Ordinance No. 646-B states that the Parks and Recreation Board shall consist
of seven (7) members to serve two (2) year terms; and,
Whereas, currently the terms of four (4) of the Parks and Recreation Board members
Chris Miltenberger, Cara White, Lisa Stokdyk, and Mary Georgia) have expired; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City
Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The City Council hereby appoints the following persons to the Parks and
Recreation Board to serve terms to expire in May 2004:
Place 4 Mary Georgia (to expire 5/2004)
Place 5 Eric Blomouist (to expire 5/2004)
Place 6 Dorothv Wood (to expire 5/2004)
Place 7 Liz Durham (to expire 5/2004)
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective after its passage and approval by the City
Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 21st DAY OF MAY 2002.
