RESOLUTION NO. 01-070
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, CASTING ITS VOTES
TO THE TARRANT APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD
OF DIRECTORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of service for the five members of the Tarrant Appraisal District
Board of Directors will expire on December 31, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, the Tarrant Appraisal District has calculated the number of votes for the
City of Southlake based on the amount of the 2000 adjusted tax levy imposed by the City
of Southlake to be thirty-five (35) votes; and,
WHEREAS, in order to be eligible to serve as directors, the candidates must meet the
guidelines set out by the Tarrant Appraisal District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, THAT:
Section 1. All of the above premises are true and correct and are hereby incorporated
into the body of this resolution as if copied in its entirety.
Section 2. The City Council cast its thirty-five (35) votes to the Tarrant Appraisal
District Board of Directors to:
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective from and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 26TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2001.
