2000-110RESOLUTION 00-110 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE TAX INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER ONE OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, after public hearing created Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of Southlake, on September 23, 1997; and WHEREAS, a Board of Directors was established by the City of Southlake Ordinance No. 682, adopted September 23, 1997, to administer the Zone and was amended by Ordinance No. 761, adopted December 7, 1999; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake appointed eight members to the Board of Directors of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One on July 18, 2000; and WHEREAS, there currently exists one vacant position on this board held by former CISD Board of Trustees President Susan Logan, the City of Southlake is to appoint one (1) member to fill the remainder of the term; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all matters in the preamble of this resolution are true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the City of Southlake hereby appoints the following member to fill the vacant position on the Board of Directors of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of Southlake, Texas, to fill the remainder of the term of office through May of 2001: 1. Carroll Independent School District Board of Trustees President Rob Glover Section 3. That the City of Southlake authorizes and directs that this action be made part of the City's permanent records. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective immediately upon passage by the City Council.
