1996-049City of Southlake, Texas , RESOLUTION NO. 96-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake has created an Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) to work with City staff to promote, assist, and enhance economic development activities in the City of Southlake; and, WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution No. 96-11, has determined that EDAC shall consist of five (5) members, one of which will be a City Council representative; now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. All of the above premises are true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in its entirety. Section 2. The City Council desires to appoint RICK STACY as the City Council representative to serve on the EDAC. — - Section 3. The members of the EDAC are appointed for one-year terms. Any member is eligible for reappointment. Section 4. The EDAC shall meet with the City Manager and the City Manager's designees as needed, at a time and place to be determined by the Committee, to promote, assist, and enhance economic development activities. Section 5. This resolution shall become effective from and after the date of its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF JUNE, 1996.
