RESOLUTION NO. 93-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING AN ACTING CITY
MANAGER AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
UPON PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
WHEREAS, the City Charter states that an Acting City Manager
shall be designated to perform the duties of the City Manager in
his absence or disability, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake feels it is
in the best interest of its citizens to approve the appointment of
an Acting City Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. All the findings in the preamble are found to be
true and correct and the City Council does hereby incorporate said
findings into the body of this resolution as if copied in their
entirety.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Southlake hereby
t-rpproves the appointment of Shana K. Rice as Acting City Manager as
recommended by Curtis E. Hawk, City Manager, pursuant to Section
4.15 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Southlake, Texas.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective on December
22, 1993.
