RESOLUTION NO.90-74
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE AND DENTON
COUNTY FOR FIRE PROTECTION. PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas,
deems it to be in the best interest, health, and welfare of the
citizens of Southlake to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with
Denton County for Fire Protection Services; and,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approved the Interlocal
Agreement between the City of Southlake and Denton County for
Fire Protection Services, in the form attached hereby as Exhibit
A" and authorizes and directs the Mayor to execute and have
delivered such agreement to Denton County Commissioners Court.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
