WHEREAS, it is in the best interest
of the citizens of the City of South -
lake, Texas, to have adequate over-
head water storage; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has a goal
to continually upgrade the water
system; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Authorization is given for the engineering associated
with the construction of an elevated water storage
tank to be located on an appropriate site in the
City of Southlake. Engineering will provide a set
of specifications to permit advertisements for
construction bids. The size of the tower is to
be determined after the engineering is completed.
2. The funds are to be expended from the 1984 Waterworks
Improvement Construction Bond Fund, not to exceed
5,000.
