RESOLUTION 86-52
WHEREAS, the Southlake Aircraft
Noise Awareness Committee has been
interfacing with Dallas/Fort Worth
Airport Board and the F.A.A. officials
concerning Runway 13R/31L over Southlake,
and,
WHEREAS, the Committee feels that it may
be necessary to retain an attorney to
evaluate the legal position of Southlake
against the Airport Board and F.A.A. and,
WHEREAS, the Committee feels a need to
understand the strength of Southlake
legal position in order to negotiate
concerning the use of the new runway;
now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council of the City of Southlake has authorized
the Southlake Aircraft Noise Awareness Committee a
sum of $3,000 for legal fees to use if necessary
o evaluate the legal position of Southlake against
the Airport Board and F.A.A.
