WHEREAS, the City Council of the
City of Southlake, Texas deems
it to be in the best interest of
its citizens to have safe roads;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has worked
very closely with the State Highway
Department to insure safe highways;
now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
The City of Southlake City Council is requesting that
the State Highway Department install traffic lights
at three locations on FM 1709; Peytonville Avenue,
White Chapel Blvd. and Carroll Avenue.
The City Council also requests that the traffic lights
be in place before the Carroll Independent School
District completes the construction of the new
Elementary School being constructed on West
Continental Blvd.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 19th Day of August, 1986.
