A Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the
City of Southlake, Texas, to negotiate an
agreement with a master planning firm to
develop a comprehensive zoning map and
master zoning plan for the City of Southlake.
Whereas the City of Southlake does not presently have a workable
comprehensive zoning map and master plan for the zoning of this City;

Whereas the City Council desires to retain the services of a

4 professional master planning firm to aid in the development of a
master plan and comprehensive zoning map for the zoning of the City
of Southlake.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved By the City Council for the City of
Southlake, Texas that the Mayor be, and he is, authorized to seek a
Master Planning firm and to negotiate with such firm for the purpose
of entering into an agreement for such Master Planning firm to
prepare a Master Zoning Plan and Comprehensive Zoning Map for the
future land use and zoning of existing tracts within the City of
Southlake, Texas.
Adopted this day of 1985 by a vote of
the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, ayes,
nayes, and abstaining.
