WHEREAS, it is in the best interest
of the Citizens of the City of
Southlake, to have a Fire Marshal
and an Assistant Fire Marshal,
and,
WHEREAS, the Uniform Fire Code does
allow for a Fire Marshal to enforce
the Fire Codes stated within the
Uniform Fire Code, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Southlake does
make every effort to enforce their
codes in an effort to protect the
citizens, now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council of the City of Southlake, does hereby
appoint David Barns to the office of Fire Marshal and
also appoints Robert P. Steele as Assistant Fire Marshal.
These appointments are hereby to be effective immediately.
