WHEREAS,
RESOLUTION NO. i
it has come to the attention of the City Council
that the City may be able to obtain a Criminal
Justice Grant; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interest of the City of Southlake to authorize
the Chief of Police to seek said grant;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS:
Sec. 1. That the Chief of Police of the City of Southlake
is hereby directed and authorized to apply for a
Criminal Justice Grant in the amount of $315-233.24
for one Crime Prevention/Major Case Investigator at
the ratio. 'of Criminal Justice Division -$28,859.24
and the City of Southlake - $ 2,600.00
AND IT IS SO RESOLVED.
APPROVED by the City of Southlake, Texas, this the 8th day of
January, 1984.
