1984-016RESOLUTION 84-16
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of
the health and welfare of the citizens
of the City of Southlake, to have ample
water resources; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth contract
to furnish the City of Southlake water
through the pipe line and pumping station
to be constructed is being amended to
permit the City of Southlake to purchase
water prior to the completion of the new
pipe line and pumping station using exist-
ing City of Keller water system facilities;
and,
WHEREAS, negotiations with the City of Keller
in order to establish factors pertaining
to costs, hours of use and other necessary
details; now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:

Mayor Lloyd 0. Latta Jr. is authorized to negotiate with the
City of Keller concerning an agreement to purchase City of
Fort Worth water made available to the City of Southlake by
passing through the City of Keller water system.
