RESOLUTION 84-14
WHEREAS, itis necessary for the best
interest of the Citizens of the City
of Southlake, Texas, that there be a
Mayor Pro Tempore, to serve in the
absence of the Mayor; AND,
WHEREAS, the office of Mayor Pro
Tempore is currently vacant; AND,
WHEREAS, the term of such office will
be until the next regular city
election, in accordance with Article
992 of Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes;
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
JOHNNY H. WESTERHOLM, COUNCILPERSON PLACE 1, be and he is
hereby appointed to serve as Mayor Pro Tem for a term to
expire at the next regular city election, which will be
held on April 6,1985.
