RESOLUTION 84-5
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Southlake, Texas, on the
7th day of April, 1984, an election for the position of Place 3,
Place 4, and Place 5 of the City Council,
AND,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election 581 votes as shown
in the official election returns heretofore lawfully submitted
to the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, and filed
with the City Secretary of said City;
AND,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said City
voted in said election, and said election was called and held
in strict conformity with the Laws of the State of Texas;
AND,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed by the
City Council of the City of Southlake on the 7th day of April,
1984, and showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all things
approved.
2. Bruce McCombs is hereby declared to have been elected to the
office of Councilperson Place 3, to serve until April, 1986.
Loyd Eubanks is hereby declared to have.been elected to the
office of Councilperson Place 4, to serve until April, 1986,
and Marion R. Bone is hereby declared to have been elected to
the office of Councilperson Place 5, to serve until April 1986.
