R-ESOLUTION NO. 79-7
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Southlake,
Texas, on the 7th day of April, 1979, an election
for Mayor, and for City Councilpersons in Place 1
and Place 2; And,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election S89 votes
as shown in the official election returns hereto-
fore lawfully submitted to the City Council of
the City of Southlake, Texas, and filed with the
City Secretary of said City; And,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of
said City voted at said election, and said election
was called and held in strict conformity with the
laws of the State of Texas; And,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly
canvassed by the City Council of the City of
Southlake on the 9th day of April, 1979, and
showed the following results:

R.W. Mussina..................... 234 votes
AC Urbanosky..................... 309 votes
Nathan Hight ..................... 279 votes
Lloyd Latta ...................... 331 votes

Wade Booker ...................... 1 vote
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: THAT:
1. The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all things approved.
2. Martin R. Hawk be and is hereby declared to have been elected
to the office of Mayor, to serve until April, 1981; AC
Urbanosky has been elected to the office of Place 1 Council -
person, to serve until April, 1981; and Lloyd Latta has been
elected to the office of Place 2 Councilperson, to serve
until April, 1981.
PASSED.AND APPROVED THIS 9th day of April, 1979.
