WHEREAS, it is necessary for the best
interest of the citizens of the City
of Southlake, Texas, that there be a
Mayor Pro Tempore to serve in the ab-
sence of the Mayor; And,
WHEREAS, the current term of Mayor Pro
Tempore expires this date; Now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Martin (Pat) Hawk, Councilman, Place 3, be and he is hereby
appointed to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore for a term of one
1) year from this date to the third Tuesday of April, 1977.
